POSITION PURPOSE:

The mission of the Sourcer role is to cultivate and provide the highest level of sourcing support to the recruiters at multiple locations by supporting the execution of effective recruitment strategies. In addition to sourcing, this position develops and maintains strong relationships with candidates that could lead to quality submittals in arry of different roles, including delivery (CDL drivers), field equipment services (equipment technicians) and production (manufacturing employees).  This is a seasonal sourcing position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate with recruiters to understand position responsibilities and duties to ensure top quality submittals and hires. Execute traditional and creative sourcing strategies that attract the ideal candidates through the Reddy Ice Career site, external job boards (Zip Recruiter, Career Builder, Craigslist, etc.). Perform Boolean searches and utilize Facebook and other social platforms to identify and engage candidates. Explore and implement opportunities for community-based recruiting, referrals, and rehires. Asssist with the screening process by scheduling candidates with hiring managers. Gather, analyze, and implement feedback from hiring managers and recruiters on a timely basis. Ensure candidate requirements and successfully close offers throughout the interview process. Understand and fully comply with laws, regulations, and internal processes, policies, and procedures. Utilize Workday to create and track requisitions, and finalize the new hire process, including closing filled requisitions. Track candidate dispositions. Review and present automated offer letters and answer candidates’ questions throughout the hiring process. Maintain and grow the candidate database and pipeline through regular communication with potential new hires. Research and recommend new sourcing processes for active and passive candidate recruiting Schedule and support open house programs, job fairs and group interviews as needed. Assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management. Must have a high sense of urgency, willingness to succeed while having a team player mindset. Must be able to travel for job fairs and to assist with high volume hiring events. Assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree preferred but relevant experience in a related field (light industrial preferred) of Recruiting/HR experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Intermediate expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with an applicant tracking system (preferably Workday), sourcing and closing candidates using social media, and Boolean search strategies
  • Strong interpersonal/communication (oral and written) skills
  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team and department goals

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position generally works in an office environment and uses typical office equipment including phones, computers, and printers. Work is conducted in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. The ability to manage stress, build professional and collaborative relationships, and reason through complex business situations is essential. This position requires occasional travel; a valid drivers license and acceptable MVR is required.
