Job Description

This position manages the customer master file data, the product master file data, and the pricing file data for the company.  Ensures the integrity of the data by establishing master file set up and maintenance policies and procedures, training employees on policy and process execution, and reviewing the customer, product, and pricing master files.  Responsible for creating and managing all data governance and the workflow processes for all customer additions/changes and edits. Manages EDI business process and standards for transaction processing. 

1.    Hire, train, coach, and performance review the Data Integrity Coordinators and EDI Analyst.
2.    Direct the operation of the customer master data, including product/pricing master files, EDI master files, and price files for both corporate and field accounts. Monitor and manage workbench errors related to master data. Clear issues and communicate customer updates to the ticket processing team.
3.    Develop procedures and policies for all data standards to meet changes in our business and in the industry as a whole.  
4.    Provide research assistance to the A/R Department, and ensure that journal entries are made, and that customer master files reflect accurate A/R balances.
5.    Work with the sales team to ensure customer pricing and other information is accurate and maintained.
6.    Work with vendors and new customers to establish EDI plan for transaction processing.
7.    Perform regular data standard and quality audits and make recommendations to business processes to improve data quality.
8.    Promote a culture of continuous process improvement by identifying business trends and working on acquisitions, integrations, new technology deployments, data cleansing, changes in customer distribution methodology, system convergence, compliance, and system governance.
9.    Maintain a data standards library that is available to all data management team and data owners and is the point of reference for data standards and quality. Provide regular updates to data owners to ensure standards are understood and implemented throughout the company’s data management activities.
Act as an Emergency Management Team member by providing subject matter expertise in setting up new EOC customers, communicating procedures to plant managers, and developing processes and templates.
