JOB TITLE: Region Sales Manager

REPORTS TO: Plant Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

At Reddy Ice, we are working toward a vision of becoming North America’s “Total Ice Solution.”

The Region Sales Manager drives sales activities and is the front line of contact for customers. They are responsible for managing, maintaining and owning customer relationships. They ensure issues are addressed, needs are met, and clients are satisfied.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Build, grow and expand accounts.

2. Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain lasting relationships with clients.

3. Aggressive drive retention and growth (upsell) with existing client base.

4. Assertive in identifying new sales leads and opportunities within the region to add new customers.

5. Consult face-to-face with local clients and be the face to the company for the client.

6. Develop a deep understanding of local customers and their needs as well as competitive climate.

7. Promote and demonstrate the values of Reddy Ice products and services.

8. Develop proposals, collaborate with Reddy Ice leadership on sales opportunities, negotiate terms and conditions, and implement contracts and ensure customer satisfaction and maximized financial results.

9. Partner with National Account Executives, Regional Account Executives, Regional VP and Market Managers to maintain key accounts within the region and between regions.

10. Provide critical local market feedback

11. Coordinates with plant to service multi location within regional accounts.

12. Make and assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management.

14. Working with distributors making sure national account customers and local customers are happy with Reddy Ice service.

15. Visit major warehouse customers out of the DSD area to obtain new business or to maintain present business with Reddy Ice.

16. Work with Chambers, Manufacturing Organization in securing business opportunities.
